I wish I were in …

It’s been too hot here in Dallas with no relief in sight. The highs hover around 100°F (38°C), give or take a few degrees. I shouldn’t complain because I can stay home with the AC on at full blast all day but, please, allow me a small rant 🙂

I sincerely wish I were back in Jersey. We had such a great time on that lovely island. And the best thing was that the highest summer temperatures can’t hold a candle to Texas summer, at least while we were there. So I took a trip down memory lane to cool down a bit.

Fliquet Bay
Giffard Bay

Good heavens! Is it really raining on Giffard Bay? I forgot what rain looks like, it hasn’t rained in Dallas in a while.

  1. Oh, that looks like a beautiful place! And we have the same temperatures here in Lubbock as well, so I feel you. I do think it’s a little less humid here and maybe more windy, so probably a little easier to stand. I’m about to go to Atlanta for a few days and have been warned that it’s really bad there heat-wise. And these warnings came from heat-proof Texans, so I’m a little scared.
