Photo essay: Dallas Arboretum

I love autumnal colours: reds, yellows, golden, russets, ochres. And the light has an almost magical quality. I planned a photo safari (maybe safari is too much?) at the Dallas Arboretum to try and capture that magic.

The magic of autumn
Yellow roses, my favourite kind.
Playful statues

  1. Very pretty photos! I just love exploring botanical gardens and arboretums. I made it a point to visit two of my favorites in Philadelphia when I was back visiting. There’s always such a sense of peace and tranquility at places like that. The statuary at the Dallas Arboretum is lovely – I’m glad you included it in your photos!
