Hi, I'm Ana. I'm originally from Argentina but I'm currently living in Dallas (USA) with my British husband. I'd like to share my experiences as an expat and as a traveller.

  1. Just brushing up on Toronto facts before leaving tomorrow 🙂 Getting excited browsing around your blog. Read about poutine on some of your other posts. Any specific restaurant suggestion in Markham by any chance? We’re staying a little outside Toronto as you can tell.

    1. We stayed in Vaughn the last time so I don’t know much about Markham. But make sure you visit the historic village of Thornhill (go to the library and pick up a free self-guided walking tour) and Unionville. Both are Victorian towns and are gorgeous. We ate at the Old Country Inn in Unionville, and Austrian restaurant, and liked their food.
If you don’t mind driving to Vaughn, you’ll find an Italian restaurant called Marcello’s, which is very good. I wasn’t too crazy about the food in general in Toronto, with a few exceptions.
